Thank you for your interest in volunteering at our summer nature camps.

 

First Time Volunteer? Start Here: 

1. Are you new to LandPaths? Fill out this survey: 2022 Summer Camp Volunteer Questionnaire - Google Forms  so we can get to know your skills, experience, schedule, and how best to involve you in camp. After this, we will follow-up  a call or email to be sure we are all set. Then, we will get your schedule on our calendar. 

2. Get Fingerprinted with LandPaths: Our Volunteer Lead will send you everything you need to know once after you fill out the questionaire above, so please be sure to fill that out first. 

3. Attend our Volunteer Training Day (More details including time and place below) 

 

Returning Volunteers, Start Here: 

1. Email or call Laura Revilla at laura@landpaths.org / 408-656-9339- with your desired schedule and time commitment! We will add you to the schedule and confirm all the details as camp draws closer.  

2. f you have been fingerprinted for LandPaths volunteer committments in the past, you will not need to get fingerprinted again. 

3. Attend our Volunteer Training Day.

We hope that all our volunteers will be able to join us for a group training day to meet staff and fellow volunteers, hike the site, learn more about day to day activities at camp, and MORE!

 

VOLUNTEER TRAINING DAYS: Wednesday, June 8th and 9th (Owl camps) and June 30 (QTYA camps)

 

For Owl camps:

Where: Rancho Mark West and Preston's Farm When: Wednesday,  June 8, 9am-3:30pm at Rancho Mark West and Thursday June 9th 12:00-5pm for Prestons's camps.

For all volunteers: Important training on Trauma-Informed approaches to working with youth on June 9th from 3-4:30pm We'll send out more details as the training date approaches. If you are unable to attend please let me know and we can come up with an alternative plan. 

 

For the Queer, Trans Youth and Allies camps:

Where: Bohemia Ecological Preserve When: Thursday June 30, 9am-3:30pm. We'll send out more details as the training date approaches. If you are unable to attend please let me know and we can come up with an alternative plan. 

 

In additipon, we could use support with youth and boat transport, in camp set-up and meals, as well as experienced hikers and boaters as safety support on the trail and in the water:

July 5-8 (ages 13-17) Forestville to the Sea
