Rancho Mark West learning garden needs your green thumb!

Every fourth Saturday of the month!
Come on out and help us prepare the garden so that Owl Camp campers can enjoy it throughout the summer! We need all hands on deck to get the plants into the ground so they can start growing before the kids arrive on the land! Garden stewardship days are a great way to get outside and spend time at beautiful Rancho Mark West, giving back to the land! Bring your family! We will have hot beverages and cookies to enjoy.
If you are unable to participate in the stewardship day, you can help by donating seedlings to get into the ground - strawberries, tomatoes, peppers, basil, etc., seeds, garden gloves and tools! Thank you.
For the day, please bring:

Water to drink and your own water bottle

Food and snacks
-
Garden gloves, if you have them.

Sunscreen and sun/rain protection (hat, long-sleeved shirt)
Will the workday be canceled if it rains? A light drizzle won't stop us, but we'll cancel if it's a heavy downpour. We'll email you if we cancel. You can also check back on this post; it will say "CANCELLED" if the workday is called off.
If you have any questions, call the office at 707-544-7284. Please know that the office is only open Monday - Friday from 9am - 5pm. All calls or emails sent before or after that time will be responded to on the next business day.

Ayúdanos a preparar el jardín para los campamentos de verano Búho. ¡Necesitamos todas las manos a la obra para poner las plantas en la tierra para que puedan comenzar a crecer antes de que los niños lleguen! ¡Disfruten del hermoso Rancho Mark West! ¡Traigan a su familia! Ofreceremos bebidas calientes y galletas.
Si no puede participar este día, puede ayudarnos donando plantitas: fresas, tomates, pimientos, albahaca, etc., semillas, guantes de jardinería y herramientas. ¡Gracias!

¿Se cancela el día de trabajo si llueve? Una llovizna ligera no nos detendrá, pero cancelaremos si hay un aguacero fuerte. Les enviaremos un correo electrónico si cancelamos. También pueden volver a consultar esta publicación; dirá "CANCELADO" si se suspende el día de trabajo.
