Heart Walk in Bohemia Ecological Preserve

Join volunteer docents, Francisca and Lexi, for a Heart Walk at the beautiful Bohemia Ecological Preserve on Sunday, March 16th - a unique gathering that weaves together meditation, community connection, and the healing presence of nature.
During this special experience, we'll begin with a heart-centered meditation, creating space to deeply connect with our own hearts while in the embrace of the natural world. As we journey together on a guided silent hike through the preserve, you'll be invited to maintain this heart-centered awareness - allowing it to become an offering that flows between ourselves, our fellow participants, and the living landscape around us.
This contemplative walk offers a chance to step away from the busy world and into a more intimate relationship with both our inner landscape and the natural environment that holds us. Whether you're experienced with meditation or simply curious to explore, all are welcome to share in this gentle practice of presence and connection.

We ask that you leave your pets at home
Difficulty:
This hike is suitable for all ages but will include a fairly steep hike up and hike down. There is an elevation gain of about 500 feet over a little less than a mile.
What to bring:

Bottle of water and snacks for you and your family

Sun protection and warm layers for the morning

Comfortable walking/hiking shoes

Hiking poles can be beneficial

Cancellations: We will make every effort to let you know ahead of time if the outing gets cancelled and we would really appreciate a message from you if you need to cancel as well.
Will it be canceled if it rains? A light drizzle won't stop us, but we'll cancel if it's a heavy downpour. We'll email you if we cancel. You can also check back on this post; it will say "CANCELLED" if the outing is called off.
