Lobban Preserve BioBlitz!
03/28/2026 10:00 AM - 02:00 PM PT
Description

Be a community scientist! Help us learn more about the species that live on this preserve. This information will be added to our preserve's species list and will help information management decisions and educational opportunities in the future. During this day, we will catalog as many species as possible for this preserve. Naturalists and nature-lovers of all experiences and ages are welcome. You do not need to have previous experience with species identification or iNaturalist. Our staff will teach you how to use iNaturalist and how to identify a variety of species. iNaturalists' robust audience of naturalists and its AI image analysis software can also help us with some of the more difficult classifications that our staff can't identify.
Lobban Preserve is directly connected to Rancho Mark West preserve - directions sent upon registration.
Before attending this event, please download iNaturalist application to your phone (iPhone, Android) and create an iNaturalist account.
