Sunset Hike + Meditation at Bohemia Ecological Preserve

Step into the magic of Bohemia Ecological Preserve for an evening hike and guided meditation with LandPaths docents Alok and Kenergy. We’ll walk together through the extensive woodlands and grasslands, following the winding trails as the preserve glows in the golden light of sunset. Along the way, Alok and Kenergy will share stories of the land’s ecology and spirit, while inviting us to slow our pace and deepen our awareness.

As the sun sets, we’ll gather for a guided meditation—an opportunity to pause, breathe, and connect with the beauty of Bohemia’s landscape as day turns to night. This experience is designed to nourish both body and spirit, offering a balance of gentle movement, reflection, and stillness.

All are welcome, whether you’re a seasoned hiker, new to meditation, or simply curious to experience the preserve in a new way. Please bring comfortable walking shoes, water, and an open heart.

We will ask you to sign a waiver of liability
There is a portable restroom
No potable water
No pets or smoking

Elevation Gain: 1,200 - 1,500 feet

Cancellations: We will make every effort to let you know ahead of time if the outing gets cancelled and we would really appreciate a message from you if you need to cancel as well. These outings often have a waitlist.

Will we cancel if it rains? A light drizzle won't stop us, but we'll cancel if it's a heavy downpour. We'll email you if we cancel. You can also check back on this post; it will say "CANCELLED" if the program is called off.
