Sobre el área:
Las propiedades en la cima de la montaña como “Lafferty Ranch” son raras. Adquirido por la ciudad de Petaluma en 1959, “Lafferty Ranch” es un rancho de 270 acres y es la única propiedad pública cerca de la cima de Sonoma Mountain que da a la bahía de San Francisco, el Pacífico y ofrece vistas de Mt. Tamalpais, Mt. Diablo, Mt. St. Helena, y Hood Mountain. Los visitantes pueden disfrutar de vistas panorámicas, arboledas de venerables robles y laureles, y un apacible arroyo perenne. About the area:
Mountain-top properties like Lafferty Ranch are rare. Acquired by the city of Petaluma in 1959, Lafferty Ranch is a 270-acre ranch and is the only public property near the summit of Sonoma Mountain that overlooks San Francisco Bay, the Pacific Ocean, and offers views of Mt. Tamalpais, Mt. Diablo, Mt. St. Helena, and Hood Mountain. Visitors can enjoy panoramic views, groves of venerable oak and laurel trees, and a peaceful perennial stream. Located near the summit of Sonoma Mountain (on the Petaluma side), Lafferty covers 270 acres and is home to the headwaters of Adobe Creek, which is why the property served as the source of the city's municipal water system until 1992.

Our staff are CPR and first aid certified, they have the capacity, training, and years of experience working outdoors. All staff and volunteers have had their backgrounds checked using fingerprints.
