This session is located on the ancestral land of the Pomo people at Preston Farm and Winery, a 125-acre organic farm in Healdsburg’s Dry Creek Valley. The Preston family has stewarded the land over the last 45 years to create a diversified farm including vineyards, vegetables, fruit and olive trees, grain, and pastured livestock. Theme: Farm Explorers: Living with the Land This week, campers will enjoy full days of outdoor adventure filled with games, hands-on farm projects, plant exploration, and refreshing creek time. Together, we will harvest herbs, cook, and create nature-inspired crafts and keepsakes. To culminate the week, campers embark on a Nature Quest! Through these shared experiences, campers will learn how caring for the land helps it thrive and supports us in return, while building confidence, joy and environmental literacy.
