This session is located on the ancestral land of the Wappo people at Rancho Mark West, a historic 120-acre protected property in eastern Santa Rosa. Campers will explore the spring-fed waters, ancient redwoods, oak woodlands, and the resilient and awe-inspiring landscape. Canoe experience on the pond! Theme: Nature Navigators This week, campers will deep dive into nature while learning what it takes to live and explore safely in the outdoors. From filtering water and knot tying to boat building and a compass quest, campers will gain skills that help them live more harmoniously with and from the land. Throughout the week, campers will strengthen their connection to nature, build confidence outdoors, and come together through learning, teamwork, and adventure.
