Descripción: LandPaths te invita a una exploración costera en el Parque Regional Stillwater Cove, al norte del pueblito Fort Ross y al sur del parque estatal Salt Point. Haremos una caminata al costado de un arroyo guiándonos dentro de un bosque de Redwoods. También disfrutaremos de una hermosa playa al final de la caminata. Este paseo divertido y relajante es para toda la familia. ¡Vamos Afuera!

Sobre el parque:
El Parque Regional Stillwater Cove, ubicado en la costa norte de Sonoma, cuenta con una pintoresca playa en forma de medialuna, un pequeño camping y senderos para caminar a través de bosques de secuoyas y junto a acantilados oceánicos. El parque es un lugar popular para disfrutar de pozas de marea, hacer picnics, pescar, bucear y practicar kayak en el océano. La histórica escuela Fort Ross, de una sola aula, se encuentra en el interior del parque, trasladada allí hace décadas para su conservación. Aprenda más sobre el área Aquí.
Dificultad: Caminata mayormente fácil, hay algo de elevación, pero en segmentos.
Qué Traer:

Botella de agua, bocadillos y almuerzo para el día

Ropa cómoda y para proteger del sol (gorra, lentes, bloqueador solar)

Zapatos cómodos para caminar (que se puedan ensuciar)

Tendremos que cruzar el arroyo dos veces durante la caminata, prepárese para mojarse los pies un poco

Silla ligera o cobijita de pícnic para sentarse en la arena

Transportación: Nos iremos en caravana, pero también proveeremos transportación gratuita. El cupo en el carro es limitado a las primeras personas que indiquen necesitar transporte.

Nuestro personal está certificado en lo mínimo de Resucitación Cardiopulmonar y primeros auxilios, tienen capacitación y años de experiencia trabajando en la naturaleza. A todo el personal y los voluntarios se les ha revisado sus antecedentes por medio de huellas digitales.

Description: LandPaths invites you on a coastal exploration in Stillwater Cove Regional Park, north of Fort Ross and south of Salt Point State Park. We'll hike along a creek through a redwood forest and enjoy a beautiful beach at the end of the hike. This fun and relaxing outing is perfect for the whole family. Vams Afuera!

About the area:
Stillwater Cove Regional Park, located on Sonoma's north coast, features a picturesque crescent-shaped beach, a small campground, and hiking trails through redwood forests and along ocean bluffs. The park is a popular spot for tide pools, picnicking, fishing, snorkeling, and ocean kayaking. The historic one-room Fort Ross Schoolhouse is located within the park, having been relocated there decades ago for preservation. Learn more about the park here.
Difficulty: Mostly easy walk, there is some elevation gain but in segments.
What to bring:

Water bottle, snacks, and lunch for the day

Comfortable clothing and sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen)

Comfortable walking shoes (that can get dirty)

We will have to cross the creek twice during the hike, so be prepared to get your feet a little wet.

Transportation: We'll be traveling in a carpool/caravan, but we'll also provide free transportation. Car spaces are limited to the first people who sign up and indicate needing transportation.
Additional Details:
Our staff are certified in basic CPR and first aid and have years of training and experience working in the wilderness. All staff and volunteers have undergone background checks, including fingerprinting.
