Descripción: Acompáñenos en esta aventura de observación de aves en nuestra hermosa Reserva de Riddell, cerca de la ciudad de Healdsburg. Ven y disfruta de este evento para toda la familia mientras recorremos los senderos y el bosque de esta reserva. Juntos exploraremos el maravilloso mundo de las aves y su temporada migratoria en los alrededores del Río Ruso.

Dificultad: Vengan preparados para caminar. Será sobre terreno moderado con bajadas y elevación en la entrada.
Ubicación de caravana: Nos vemos en el estacionamiento del depósito de la Corporación de Healdsburg, ubicado en 550 Westside Rd, Healdsburg, CA 95448. La caravana saldrá a las 9:00 am del sábado 2 de mayo. Una vez que todos lleguen, nos dirigiremos en caravana a la reserva Riddell. Les pedimos puntualidad para que podamos aprovechar al máximo el día.
Es necesario registrarse al evento para asistir. El cupo es limitado para quienes se registren con anticipación.
Dirección: Desde la autopista 101 Norte, tome la salida Central Healdsburg y gire ligeramente a la izquierda en Healdsburg Avenue. Gire a la izquierda en Mill Street. Continúe por debajo del paso elevado de la autopista, ya que Mill Street se convierte en Westside Road. Description: Join us on this birding adventure at our beautiful Riddell Preserve, located near the city of Healdsburg. Come and enjoy this family-friendly event as we hike the trails and forest of this preserve. Together we'll explore the woderful world of birds and in their migratory season to the surrounding of the russian river.

Difficulty: Come prepared to walk. It will be on moderate terrain with some descents and elevation changes at the entrance.
Carpool Location: Meet us in the parking lot of the Healdsburg Corporation Yard at 550 Westside Rd, Healdsburg, CA 95448. The carpool will depart at 9am on Saturday, May 2nd. Once everyone arrives we will caravan to the Riddell preserve. Please be punctual so we can make the most of the day.
You must be registered at the start of the event to attend. Space is limited for those who register in advance.
Directions: From Highway 101 North, take the Central Healdsburg Exit. and make a slight left on Healdsburg Avenue. Turn left onto Mill Street. Continue under the highway overpass as Mill Street turns into Westside Road. The Corporation Yard parking lot will be on the left immediately before the bridge crossing at the intersection of Westside Rd and Lucius Way. There is a "Corporation Yard" sign at the entrance to the parking lot. From Highway 101 South, take the Westside Exit and turn right on Westside Rd. The Corporation Yard parking lot will be on the left immediately before the bridge crossing at the intersection of Westside Rd and Lucius Way.
About the Property: With its magnificent native grasslands, pure madrone stands, redwood fairy rings, and perennial springs, Riddell Preserve is a 400-acre wonderland above Dry Creek Valley. Comfortable clothing and sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen).

Comfortable walking shoes (that can get dirty).

Landpaths will provide a water jug for you to refill your water bottles.

Please note that pets and smoking are not allowed on our outings.
