Sobre el parque:
La Reserva Natural Jenne Headlands, está ubicada en la costa del condado de Sonoma. Jenner Headlands es un espectacular mosaico de 5,630 acres (2270 hectáreas) de bosques de secuoyas y abetos de Douglas, robledales, matorrales y praderas costeras con vistas al océano Pacífico. Muchas especies raras y en peligro de extinción habitan la propiedad, incluyendo el búho moteado del norte, el halcón peregrino y el topillo rojo. Description: LandPaths invites you on a coastal exploration of the Jenner Headlands Preserve, north of the Russian River Estuary and the small town of Jenner. We'll hike the reserve's trails with panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. We'll also enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the scenic spots. This fun and relaxing outing is perfect for the whole family. ¡Vamos Afuera!

About the area:
The Jenner Headlands Nature Reserve is located on the coast of Sonoma County. This spectacular 5,630-acre mosaic of redwood and Douglas fir forests, oak woodlands, scrubland, and coastal prairies overlooks the Pacific Ocean. Many rare and endangered species inhabit the property, including the northern spotted owl, peregrine falcon, and red vole. Deer, bobcat, coyote, mountain lion, and rainbow trout can also be found. Difficulty: Moderate hike. There is some elevation gain, but in sections. We will go at a slow pace.

Transportation: We'll be traveling in a carpool/caravan, but we'll also provide free transportation. Car spaces are limited to the first people who sign up and indicate needing transportation.
Additional Details:
Our staff are certified in basic CPR and first aid and have years of training and experience working in the wilderness. All staff and volunteers have undergone background checks, including fingerprinting.
