Bring your family to Ocean Song, outside of Occidental, to find your non-traditional Christmas tree for this holiday season. We are thinning young Douglas Fir trees to improve the forest health in this beautiful preserve-- and you can help us by cutting down your very own Christmas tree. (Warning: while these are NOT manicured trees like you may purchase at a Christmas Tree Farm, they are filled with meaning and love. In harvesting this tree, you will have helped fire reduction work for this land at the same time! ). We have 5 arrival time slots that participants can sign up for; we ask that you arrive within your time slot. Covid policies are in place, including necessary mask wearing.
