It's wildfire fuels reduction time on the preserve! Now that we've pulled tons of French Broom and lopped Douglas Firs, it's time to minimize the woody debris while it's okay to do burn piles. The more people we have, the more we can do!

With your help, we can steward for ecological health and wildfire resilience, the trees, native plants, animals, and insects that live on this beautiful mountain.

It's wildfire fuels reduction time on the preserve! French Broom is an invasive plant that crowds out native species and grows tall enough to act as fuel ladders in the event of a wildfire. Help us keep wildfire risk down at Riddell by pulling broom and felling small Doug firs, which can also act as fuel ladders. The more people we have, the more we can get done.
