French Broom is an invasive plant that crowds out native species and grows tall enough to act as fuel ladders in the event of a wildfire. Help us keep wildfire risk down at Riddell by pulling french broom which can also act as a fuel ladder and creating and burning piles. In the afternoon, we will head out for a hike through the oak and grassland and identify some native wildflowers.
